The Sounder Base, P/N 63-1064, adds an audible output function to any of Fike’s intelligent plug-in detectors.

It is designed specifically to meet the needs of dwelling unit applications such as hotels, dormitories, apartments, and other residential occupancies where localized or group alarm signaling is required.

The base’s integral sounder will follow the remote annunciator programming for the sensor attached to the base.

It can be configured through system programming to operate upon activation of a specific device, individual or multiple zones or multiple events based on event priority setting.

The base requires an external 24 Vdc power supply for operation of the sounder.

The base is listed by Underwriters Laboratories to meet the requirements of UL268 and UL464, but does not comply with Low Frequency requirements.
