UVTest® Fluorescent / UV Instrument

Brand: Atlas Material Testing Technology

Atlas’ UVTest is an economical instrument for fluorescent UV and condensation weathering test methods.

The instrument uses UVA-340, UVB-313, or UVA-351 fluorescent bulbs for a variety of applications.

The touch screen provides simple operation and control in several languages.

It has patented irradiance ports for safe calibration not offered on competitive fluorescent UV testers.

Multiple units can be stacked for space considerations, and a recirculating spray option is available to reduce the amount of DI water used.

The innovative design is a new, higher standard in terms of features, ease-of-use, accuracy and safety as compared to competitive fluorescent UV devices.

Specimen Capacity

  • 48 specimens + BPT in 24 specimen holders

Weight

  • 140 kg (310 lb) approximately
  • Depending on options ordered

Electrical

  • 120 Vac (± 10 %), 1-Phase, 2-Wire (1/N/PE), 50/60 Hz, 12A
  • 230 Vac (± 10 %), 1-Phase, 2-Wire (1/N/PE or 2/PE), 50/60 Hz, 8A

Water for Spray

  • Pressure: 25-40 psi (1.7-2.7 bar)
  • Purity: < 1 ppm dissolved solids
  • Silica: < 0.1 ppm
  • Conductivity: < 5 μS/cm or 200 kOhm Or refer to your test method

Water for Condensation

  • Pressure: 2-60 psi (0.1-4.1 bar)
