Rupture Protected Back and Front Domehead Plugs
Brand: Lansas ProductsThe new LANSAS® Rupture Protected Pipe Plugs have a built-in relief valve that will help prevent the plug from being overinflated due to faulty gauges or operator error.
Once the valve cracking pressure is reached, the LANSAS® relief valve will open, relieving the excess air pressure from over-inflation and the valve will reset - reseal at or just below the Required Inflation Pressure of the plug.
Features- No More Catastrophic Plug Failures Due to Defective Gauges or Operator Errors. If the Plug is Accidentally Over-inflated, the Relief Valve Engages, Relieving Any Excess Pressure and Preventing Plug Rupture.
- When the Relief Valve Engages, it Relieves the Excess Pressure in the Plug, But Does not Completely Deflate, Allowing the Plug to Stay in Use Throughout the Application. Unlike Other Manufacturers Rupture Protection Devices Cause Their Plugs to Fully Deflate, Shutting the Job Down and Causing Tests to Fail or Back Pressure to be Relieved. the LANSAS® Rupture Protected Pipe Plugs Work without this Hassle or Mess!
- The RP™ Relief Valve is Recessed Mounted to Prevent Physical Damage During Transportation and Jobsite Use.
- The RP™ Rubber Dirt Cover Protects the RP™ Air Relief Valve Against the Harsh Work Environment. Dirt and Debris is Kept Away from the Valve.
- The RP™ Relief Valve is not a Single Use Device and Will Relieve Over and Over. Unlike Other Manufacturers who Offer a One-time Use Solution which Requires You to Purchase Replacement Units Each Time. Our Less Costly RP™ Relief Valve will Protect Your Plug for Many Uses.
- The RP™ Air Relief Valve on the Lansas® RP™ Rupture Protected Pipe Plug Begins to Relieve Air from the Plug Once is has Been Over-inflated by a Maximum of 33% Above the Required Inflation Pressure for the Plug And Resets - Reseals when the Pressure is Equalized at or Just Below the Required Inflation Pressure Again.
