The Type 2014/2 Manual Call Point is designed for manual fire alert purposes in potentially explosive areas. Its protection type allows for applications in all Ex areas of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

Its installation area and terminal compartment are realized with protection type „Increased Safety“ and thus guarantee a reliable explosion protection.

Both switching contact and modules are embedded gas-tight. The housing is made of glass fiber-reinforced polyester, which ensures its corrosion protection as well as its classification for protection classes II and III. Therefore, an equipotential bonding conductor is not needed.

A further plus of the device is its sturdy design with a wall thickness of min. 8 mm.
