The reliability of the Rubber Molded Field Attachable Connector is equal to a factory molded connector, and it can be installed in one-third of the time required for conventional field splicing. These downhole connectors are protected with robust metal shells and are field attachable onto the ESP power cable, flat or round from AWG 6 to AWG 1. Field attachable connectors have multiple sealing systems, and they provide excellent service life in locations that are subject to pressure cycling. High Temperature Option: In addition to standard 149° C (300° F) temperature ratings, a higher temperature option is also offered. These connectors, made from a special higher temperature HNBR formulation, are suitable for installation below the packer, where pressure cycling is common.
