Carburetors & Chokes: Always start cleaning with the engine cold and ignition off. Remove the air cleaner.

Spray and flush the exterior surface of the carburetor, and allow it to dry.

After the area is dry, start the engine and spray short bursts into the carburetor throat, flushing the automatic choke and throttle (butterfly) plates.

Stop spraying and restart the engine if it stalls.  Increase engine speed slightly until all liquid is drawn off.

PCV Valves:  Always start cleaning with the engine cold and ignition off.

Disconnect the crankcase side of the PCV valve.

Insert the extension tube into the valve unit, spray a small amount of product inside, and shake the unit several times to make sure the check valve is loose.

Flush immediately with water to avoid harm if on auto finishes, paints, or plastics.
