AV Series Audible/Visual Alarm Console
Brand: Niagara MetersThe AV-1, AV-2 and AV-4 alarm consoles are signaling devices for use with switch closure outputs from sensing devices.
They may be used to signal high or low level product conditions or multiple level conditions within liquid storage tanks, helping to prevent tank overfill and pump burnout.
When an alarm condition occurs the integrated 103 db horn will sound and the high-intensity red warning light(s) will illuminate.
The horn may be silenced by the toggle switch(es) on the front of the enclosure.
The warning light(s) will stay on as long as the alarm condition remains and will tum off only when the alarm condition is solved.
Each AV Series unit may be used with any sensing device which has dry switch closure outputs, such as, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic tank level gages with standard or optional switch contacts.
The consoles are adopted easily to existing tank level gauging systems.
They also may be used with other electronic devices with switch closure outputs such as flow rate indicators, flow totalizers, flow switches, or float switches.
