This product is constructed in Glass Reinforced Phenolic (GRP), which offers a cost-effective means of corrosion resistance as a more expensive high-alloy metal pump at a fraction of the cost.
The PolyChem GRP pump has proved to be a cost-saving, long-term solution in acidic, chloride-rich and salt water applications.
Features- Engineered composite material construction offers cost-effective corrosion resistance and is lightweight, non-galling, non-sparking and non-conductive.
- Tapered polygon impeller drive provides exceptional torque-carrying ability and unequaled strength for optimum durability.
- Externally adjustable, semi-open impeller is inherently balanced, resulting in consistently high efficiency rates.
- Centerline discharge casing with integrally molded flanges is fully gusseted for optimal nozzle-loading capabilities.
- Radial fit and square O-rings for the casing and impeller protect the shaft from corrosive process.
- Incorporates the Mark 3™ power end design, which conforms to ASME B73.1 design standards, and is engineered to maximize performance and reliability.
- External micrometer impeller adjustment — Design incorporates an external micrometer impeller adjustment, which allows for quick and accurate impeller setting.
