The Hytork COMMANDO XL-series rack & pinion actuator is variation of the Hytork XL actuator and solves aggressive corrosion problems.

The 12 actuator sizes are designed to automate the most popular quarter turn valves like ball, butterfly and plug valves.

A proprietary heat treatment with CG941 fluorpolymer impregnated in the body makes it impervious to corrosion.The steel pinion is also fluorpolymer coated.

Field service has shown that the Commando actuators outperform other actuators in corrosive environments.

  • Hytork XL Commando is a basic Hytork XL actuator with special coating suitable for many corrosive environments.
  • Aluminum body parts are treated with a Self-Priming one-coat blends of FEP fluoropolymer.
  • Provides a complete, durable impregnation of all body parts, inside and out.
  • Coating is sprayed on the parts and dried and cured in an oven.
