Direct Wire Wrap Screen
Brand: Variperm Energy ServicesVariperm Direct wire wrap screen is manufactured directly over top of the perforated base pipe leaving the ribs in intimate contact with the pipe surface. This allows for higher installation loads and is best suited for challenging well bores with severe dog legs and long laterals.
Variperm wire wrap screens are manufactured from 304L or 316L stainless steel. Various rib and wrap wire configurations along with stainless steel material offer optimized plugging and corrosion resistance with maximum structural integrity.
Variperm uses a variety of profiles and metal compositions in the design of horizontal well screen depending on engineering and application requirements.
The screen gauge is strictly monitored throughout the wrapping process and qualified to the ISO 17824 wire wrap screen standards; with optical gauge verification available.
The base pipe is perforated maximizing open flow area, finding the optimal value to provide adequate inflow while minimizing the yield reduction of the pipe.
