At its core, it is a square bar structure, with supports that hold a fabric roller and folding, spring-loaded arms.
Simple and straightforward, it is the most common retractable type of awning in North America.
Perfect to install under eaves where it will be protected, soft covers or aluminum hoods are also available separately and can be installed to protect a wall installed unit.
While the soft cover can be used on wall installations or under soffits, the hood cover is only compatible with wall installations.
