Parker's Low Drag D-Rings are designed to provide lower frictional drag force than commonly used loose seals of the same width. 

Tests performed on actual parts show Parker's Low Drag D-Rings offer between 30% and 70% reduction in drag versus commonly used molded seals. 

With bidirectional sealing capability, machined Low Drag D-Rings with relief can be used in a wide range of applications. 

The rectangular base of our Low Drag D-Rings offers stability as the piston or rod oscillates, preventing seal rolling and the leaks or seal failures commonly associated with a rolled or twisted seal. 

Machined Low Drag D-Rings also eliminate the potential for leakage which can appear at molded seal parting lines in dynamic applications. 

Machined Low Drag D-Rings frequently provide a cost advantage compared with traditional seals. 

Due to the unique manufacturing process, larger Low Drag D-Rings can be produced at a lower cost than comparable molded seals.
