The VMAX-AT1-895/1213-DF is a unique air intake vent designed and engineered specifically for buildings required to follow fire code regulations preventing the use of fresh air intake at the underside of the eaves, or built-in firewalls within the attic, due to risk of fire propagation, especially on row homes, being so close to one another.
It is also used in situations where soffits are non- existent or non-functional. The concept of this intake vent allows the end user to install them at strategic areas throughout the roof, introducing fresh air directly into the attic space from the roof for attic air circulation in combination with the Maximum roof ventilators.
The unique storm proof system prevents weather infiltrations while still allowing fresh air intake, thus, preventing heat build-up and moisture condensation which will lead to premature wear of the building and its components.
