Standard Flexible Nylon Tubing
Brand: Freelin-WadeNylon tubing is a unique kind of tubing made from polyamide resin. This material is known for its outstanding chemical, abrasion, impact, and moisture resistance and dimensional stability.
Nylon tubing is used in industries ranging from pneumatics, food processing to auto manufacturing and robotics.
Though nylon 6 is the most common commercial grade nylon, Freelin-Wade’s nylon resins allow for a lighter-weight wall, greater flexibility, and a smaller bend radius. It also offers higher corrosion resistance than other types of nylon tubing, thanks to its resistance to moisture absorption.
The molecular structure of nylon makes it far more heat resistant than other types of plastic, such as polycarbonate.
The melting point of nylon is 374°F (190°C), far higher than many other resins. In addition to its heat resistant properties, the material’s crystalline structure also gives it high wear and chemical resistance.
