1108 Universal Specialty Cement
Brand: Arrow Adhesives Company1108 is a solvent cement designed specifically for use in joining PVC to CPVC pipe and fittings with interference fit thru 6” diameter, Sch. 40, and 4” diameter: Sch.80.
The color of the cement has a slight amber tint while in the can, however is clear when it dries.
1108 meets ‘LOW-VOC’ requirements, as outlined by SCAQMD 1168/316A.
Features- 1108 is a multi-purpose, medium bodied, fast setting solvent cement for use on all schedules and classes of PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe and fittings up to 6” diameter with interference fit; Schedule 80 through 4” diameter.
- Meets Low-VOC emission limit as outlined by South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40.
- Compliant with LEED® : Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. When using this Low-VOC product , can be claimed for LEED Green Building Rating System – Indoor Environmental Quality.
- Meets applicable performance standards of ASTM D 2564, D 2235, F 493 and the Uniform Plumbing Code.
- High-strength formulation for plumbing, irrigation, conduit, sewer, drain, waste and vent piping systems. Check local codes for acceptability of this product prior to use.
Specifications
- Can be used on all types of PVC, CPVC and ABS piping systems
- Conduit, DWV, irrigation and plumbing. Do not use a primer on ABS.
