INSTALINK-CLI 4-20 mA Loop Isolator

This module interfaces a field transmitter producing 4-20 mA to a PLC or DCS input. Power to the field transmitter is provided by an external power supply. 

The InstaLink-CLI provides up to 2.5 kV of input-output isolation and also features overvoltage transient protection on the input. Unique features of the InstaLink-CLI include the make-before-break connector and adjustable response time. 

The make-before-break connector allows a meter to be inserted into the input loop and removed without causing a momentary interruption of the loop. This makes calibration very easy. A test cable is available. Adjustable response time allows the user to select one of four response times – 1 ms, 35 ms, 350 ms or 400 ms.
