The SCE300 is an intelligent quarter-turn electric actuator from the Bettis family of actuators.

Compact and lightweight, this all-in-one actuator fits all the features of larger, heavier actuators into a neat, innovative design.

Deploy the SCE300 to maintain effective control of low-torque, quarter-turn valves and dampers in even the largest and most complex plants.
Features
  • Separate terminal enclosure is kept isolated from the electronics and motor compartment; only the wiring terminal is exposed during field installation
  • Standard adjustable torque switches, from 50 to 100% of rated torque output (3 steps: 50% - 75% - 100%)
  • Manual override is always engaged
  • Anodized aluminum with epoxy powder coat to protect unit against the decaying effects of aggressive environments
  • Visual mechanical position indicator for accurate visual reference of valve position
  • Directly mountable or readily adaptable to other quarter-turn valves
  • Permanently-lubricated, self-locking gear train helps eliminate the need for motor brakes; Epicyclical gearing ensures reliable and smooth operation
  • Mechanical travel stops designed to prevent over-travel during hand wheel or motor operation
  • Over-temperature motor thermostat
  • Integral speed control, independently adjustable in opening and closing directions
  • Latched-type output contacts for fully open / fully closed remote indication. Output contacts for monitor and blinker/local selector indication are also available
  • Optional modules add even more functionality and intelligence:
    • OM1 – Modulating Input/Output module
    • OM3 – Local Interface module
    • OM9 – PROFIBUS DP V0/V1 bus communication
    • OM11 – DeviceNet bus communication
    • OM13 – 3-wire module
