Brand: Honeywell International IncSmartCET CET5500M corrosion transmitter takes forward the technology leadership shown in the successful SmartCET series transmitter line.
It includes the same state-of-the-art algorithms and data analysis techniques previously found in the first generation product plus the enhancements introduced with the OneWireless SmartCET corrosion transmitter.
What Is It?
Like all SmartCET corrosion transmitters, the CET5500M model provides four outputs:
- General corrosion rate
- Pitting Factor
- Measured Stern-Geary constant (B value)
Corrosion Mechanism Indicator (a capacitance-based value to help diagnose the condition of the probe electrode health)
SmartCET 55000 corrosion transmitter provides multiple measurements from a single device to get a complete overview of the corrosion phenomenon occurring in the process. The CET5500 model provides real-time, online solution for proactive corrosion monitoring with direct distributed control system (DCS) connection over popular 4-20mA + HART communication interfaces.
Every 30 seconds, it uses three electrochemical techniques - LFI (Low Frequency Impedance), HDA (Harmonic Distortion Analysis) and ECN (Electrochemical Noise) - to provide the fastest and most accurate picture of corrosion situation in the given process stream.
