The Pulsar Model R86 Radar level transmitter is the latest generation of Magnetrol loop-powered, 24 Vdc, liquid level transmitters.

 It has a longer measurement range, circular polarization, advanced diagnostics and is easier to use than most loop-powered radar transmitters.

  • Performance not process dependent (changing specific gravity and dielectric have no effect).
  • 26 GHz operating frequency offers superior accuracy and resolution.
  • Antenna designs to 400° C (750° F).
  • Range up to 130 feet (40 meters).
  • Quick connect/disconnect probe coupling allows vessel to remain sealed.
  • SIL 2 capable with Safe Failure Fraction (SFF) = 93.2% (FMEDA available upon request).
  • PACTware PC software interface with new improved DTM.
