OptiLevel Capacitive Transmitter

Optilevel Capacitive Transmitter is a cost-effective, all-in-one level gauge that uses a single sensor to provide three measurements – level, temperature and water interface.

Optilevel provides a solution without any moving parts. It measures the level, the temperature and water interface of small tanks. With a maximum length of 6 meter, Optilevel is used on barges and river tankers but can also monitor fuel and oil level on service tanks on all types of ships. It carries marine approval and is resistant to corrosion.

There is a common control box for up to eight sensors that is installed in the safe zone. The sensor itself is installed on top of the tank in Zone 0. The measuring rod is composed of two coaxial stainless steel tubes, divided into several sections. Each section is a capacitive sensor that provides level information with high precision.

The bottom part of the tube can also measure the water interface. A temperature sensor is also installed inside the central pipe. The position of the temperature sensor can also be chosen freely. The measurement height can also be adjusted as per user requirements.

Optilevel provides a cost-effective solution for measuring the level, temperature and water interface of small tanks. On barges, it is particularly useful for monitoring the loading of cargo tanks. On service tanks, it helps monitor fuel and other fluid consumption, and to detect water bottom.
