This flexible and portable broadband seismometer is ideal for portable deployments and rugged enough for long term deployment in local and regional networks.

The compact REF TEK® Colt™ broadband seismometer provides high quality data for scientists conducting earth movement studies.

COLT features an exceptionally low self-noise design through use of a force balance electronic feedback circuit design.

It measures ground motion at even the quietest of sites. Colt epitomizes dynamic range instrumentation and quick, easy deployment.

Scientists requiring portable or small footprint vault style seismometers now have a high dynamic range instrument available for quick, easy deployment.

The shock resistant mass locking system protects the instrument during transportation to any field location. And, with an IP67 rating, rain, hail and snow won’t interfere with your data collection.
