HZEF Field Attachable Packer Penetrator

The BIW Field Attachable Packer Penetrator system provides a fast method of installing an electrical power Penetrator in a packer. Eliminate Downhill Splicing The system allows the connector to be installed on the top side of a packer using the supplied Crossover adapter. A field attachable Connector above the packer Penetrator completely eliminates the need for splicing of downhole cables. Adjustable Location The Packer Penetrator includes an adjustment system using threads, so the adjustment can be precise, within the three-inch range. The purpose of the adjustment is to eliminate possible stress or slack on the cable. The cable conductors can be installed prior to passing the cable through the packer. This simplifies attaching the Penetrator Connector, and minimizes work performed in the vertical position, over an open well. Proven Reliability Submitted to rigorous BIW qualification testing: 5000 psi, 350°F, ten pressure cycles in diesel and water mixture.
