GDS-450X Alarm Station Annunciator

Brand: GDS Corporation

The new GDS-450X Alarm Station Annunciator provides a convenient way to install one or two-strobe plus horn alarm stations that enhance employee safety and provide both audible and visual indication of alarm conditions.

The GDS-450X utilizes the Tomar 4375 hazardous area xenon strobe for maximum warning visibility in all directions.

Available in multiple colors, the Model 4375 includes a shatter resistant Lexan TM lens and produces up to 800,000 peak candle power (depending on color).

The Model 4375 is CSA certified for Class I Division 1 areas and is rated NEMA 4X and constructed to IP66 ingress protection.

The GDS-450X strobe + horn configuration also includes a high output (108 dbA) electronic horn with more than 25 programmable sound patterns that include continuous, pulse and alternating tones of different frequencies.

This makes it easy for users to adjust the horn output such that it can be clearly heard above common background noise.

The horn is UL Listed for Class I Division 2 hazardous areas and is ATEX certified.

The GDS-450X Alarm Station also includes a standard external wiring junction box that supports up to three ¾” NPT conduit entries and provides easy field wiring termination.

A ‘quick- connect’ option is also available that includes pre-wired male connectors in the alarm annunciator and a matching quick-connect female connector for use with the primary alarm device.

GDS-450X Alarm Station Annunciators are suitable for use with the GDS Corp C1 Protector, C2 Protector, C2 Quad Protector and C64 Protector Display & Alarm Controllers and the C2/TX Wireless Site Manager Controller.
