The XR lighting system is designed for use in marine environments and harsh and hazardous locations, ensuring reliable performance under challenging conditions. Its innovative design features thermal separation between the LED and the power supply, allowing it to operate efficiently in ambient temperatures of up to +75°C.
To facilitate long-term usage, the light engines, power supply, and other components are field serviceable, which helps extend the system's overall life. Additionally, it offers a wide range of optical distribution patterns, providing superior lighting quality tailored to various needs.
For convenience, the system is approved for through-wiring multiple units on a single circuit, and it includes a built-in junction area that simplifies the termination process. Eight versatile mounting options allow for flexible setup, making installation easier. This lighting solution is certified for use in general settings in specialized marine and hazardous locations.

XR - Encapsulated Variant
LED lights can face submersion for an extended period in specific applications. This challenge is also present in some industrial, infrastructure and maritime locations. Nemalux offers a version of the XR that is suitable for IP68 applications. An optically clear encapsulant creates a permanent seal. Maintaining protection against water ingress to a depth of up to 25'. The XR-EN model operates at full output in dry and submerged conditions.
XR - Zone 21
The XR Series LED fixtures have been certified with a Zone 21* classification. Zone 21 is where an explosive atmosphere will likely occur during normal operations. The Nemalux luminaires can provide safe and effective lighting in industrial and hazardous locations.
