CHO-SHIELD 568 Electrically Conductive Platable Nickel Epoxy Coating
Brand: ChomericsParker Chomerics CHO-SHIELD® 568 conductive coating is a two-component, nickel-filled epoxy specially formulated to accept an electrolytic plating layer.
CHO-SHIELD® 568 is a grey-colored epoxy meant to provide a base layer for the purposed of electrolytically plating a non-conductive plastic substrate.
The coating allows for a highly conductive and robust layer that is able to accept multiple metal layers with minimal thickness buildup and good adhesion to plastics.
Typical applications include military and commercial components which require a metal coating on a dielectric composite material.
